Applications
- Zinc salt of RA is used in personal care products, deodorants.
- Polymer of RA used as an emulsifier in chocolates, Soaps, cutting oils, Industrial lubricants, Emulsifiers & Metal-working compounds.
- Uses in inks, coatings, plastics, cosmetics.
- The sodium & potassium soaps of Ricinoleic acid used in rubber mfg as emulsifiers & foam stabilizers.
- The sodium soap is useful as emulsifier, stabilizer & de-foamer for emulsion polymerization of resins such as PVC & PVAC.
- Used for the treatment of leather. It provides good wetting, flexibility and softening property to leather.
