Filtered HCO liquid is mixed with Sodium Hydroxide solution & then reacted with dilute Sulphuric acid to get 12Hydroxy-Stearic Acid. After filtration & drying it goes either to Flaking machine to get 12HSA Flakes or to Spray Drying Tower to get 12HSA Powder.
For the production of Bleached grade 12HSA, a bleaching agent is added.
